After a fantastic launch and write-up in the Guardian, we asked the staff at Oldham Hulme to provide feedback on how it went.
Within 24 hours of launching this excellent App, we had two cases online and were able to deal with some concerns at once. I believe this powerful way of communicating has and will continue to have effective results in helping us help our students in their day-to-day lives. Even after such a short period of time we have already seen first hand what tootoot can do for a students immediately and for years to come.
At Oldham Hulme Grammar School we decided to introduce the app tootoot during our campaign week to raise self-esteem and awareness of mental health issues in our school. We named the campaign ‘YOUnique’ to encourage students to accept their individuality and be proud of it. The campaign consisted of many activities from assemblies to a blog and an art installation which will be displayed by the main hall. We launched the tootoot app on the Wednesday of the campaign week and it was a massive success! We have already had many reports from around the school and many happier students! The Peer Mentor team at OHGS, who helped launch the campaign, are now anonymously helping their fellow peers. Tootoot has changed our school for the better.
We really value all feedback from the staff and students that use tootoot on a daily basis. If you’d like to share your story with us on, please get in touch, we’d love to hear it.
