This Pupil Voice Week we will be rounding off celebrations with a free live event, and we are excited to announce that we have secured two special guests!

Join Michael Brennan CEO & Co-Founder of tootoot, Lauren Seager-Smith FRSA CEO of Kidscape and Sophie Murfin Executive Principal of the Wise Owl Trust on Friday 25th September at 2:00 pm (BST) for a 1-hour webinar.

The expert panel will be discussing how to support pupil mental health and wellbeing in the “new normal”. Also, there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask the panel questions, these can be pre-submitted or asked live.

Lauren Seager-Smith
CEO at Kidscape

Lauren is CEO of Kidscape – a UK charity committed to keeping children safe from harm or abuse. She has worked in the anti-bullying sector for over 15 years, previously leading the work of the Anti-bullying Alliance. Before that Lauren worked in education advocacy with Save the Children and specialised in the study of sexual bullying for her MA in Education. She is passionate about all aspects of children's rights and is a member of the Action for Children England Committee, UK Safer Internet Centre Board and Internet Matters Advisory Group.


Sophie Murfin
Executive Principal at the Wise Owl Trust

Sophie was appointed Executive Principal for the Wise Owl Trust in May 2016 from her previous role as Principal at Seymour Road Academy, which she led from Special Measures to Good with an Outstanding Early Years. She has been a Head Teacher within Manchester since 2012. Sophie has also been commissioned to support a number of other schools to improve teaching and learning and was a finalist in the National Teaching Awards.
