A Sneak Peek of Pupil Voice Week 2020’s Free Resources

Pupil Voice Week 2020 is just around the corner. With hundreds of schools already signed up, we’re really excited to celebrate this year’s theme – “It’s good to talk.”

Below is a sneak peak of some of the fantastic resources on offer this year. The resources, created with the help of our wonderful partners, celebrate the power of pupil voice, and explore themes like mental health, anti-bullying, kindness, speaking-up, wellbeing and online safety.

Resources you can use with Pupils

Anti-bullying resources from The Diana Award

The Diana Award have shared a range of interactive anti-bullying resources that explore mental health, digital wellbeing, resilience and online safety. They’ve also created a handy anti-bullying policy guide for teachers and educators.  

Respectful relationships resources from the Wise Owl Trust 

The Wise Owl Trust have created a fantastic set of resources using their award-winning Wise Owl Wellbeing strategy. The KS1 challenges and activities explore relationships, kindness and emotions.

Wellbeing resources from Nuffield Health

Nuffield Health has created a children’s wellbeing journal, challenges and activities to keep children happy, healthy and active. There are also great resources for school staff and teachers too!

Mental health resources from tootoot 

In our wide range of resources, we explore this year’s theme of talking in more detail, and encourage pupils to speak-up. There are interactive and creative resources for primary and secondary pupils, including: assemblies, lesson plans, activities, videos, fact sheets and posters.

Healthy relationships resources from Teen Tips

Accredited adolescent therapist Alicia Drummond from Teen Tips has created a short film and lesson plan that explores the key aspects of healthy relationships and how to recognise the signs of an unhealthy relationship. 


Teacher Training Resources

CPD accredited mental well-being online training from TrainingSchoolz

TrainingSchoolz have created an online course for teachers and staff to support schools in their understanding of policies and procedures around the mental well-being of children and young people. The course provides information regarding good practice on how schools should address the situation of pupils with mental health issues.
