We won! Tech Nation Rising Stars 2.0
Over the past few months, we have competed against hundreds of the UK’s fastest-growing tech companies in regional and national rounds. These culminated in the grand final last night where 22 companies competed to be one of ten of the grand final winners. We’re so excited to announce that we have won the Tech Nation Rising Stars 2.0 competition!
Young Carers Awareness Day
There are currently 800,000 11-18-year-olds in England who give up their time to care for someone they live with (BBC, 2018). And the average age of a young carer in the UK is 12 years. We provide some tips and links to support schools and young carers.

Gateshead-based contractor funds new student wellbeing app for local college
Gateshead-based contractor, BAM Construction, has paid for a year-long subscription to a cutting-edge safeguarding app, for students at the Durham Federation. The contractor, who recently built the Durham Federation’s new Creative Faculty, has bought the college the tootoot app which aims to encourage conversations around mental health, bullying and wellbeing.

Tootoot’s Pupil Voice Week is back and bigger than ever. Running from the 24th – 28th September, with the theme ‘Use Your Voice’, this year’s Pupil Voice Week has more partners and resources than ever before to help schools celebrate.

Tootoot are pleased to announce that schools have resolved 10,000 concerns raised by pupils. These include cases of bullying, mental health concerns such as suicide and self-harm, domestic violence and abuse.
Junior Premier League kicks out abuse with safeguarding app tootoot sport
A new initiative hopes to tackle the issue of bullying in football, as over 10,000 young footballers across the country will be able to report concerns, abuse and racism, as part of the Junior Premier League’s launch of tootoot sport.
