We spoke with a school in Nottingham recently who shared their experience of how tootoot had supported their safeguarding support. They asked to remain anonymous to protect the identity of the pupil, but agreed to share a story that demonstrates the power tootoot has to help pupils with a range of worries and concerns.

One of our pupils contacted us through tootoot and reported their concerns about a friend. The pupil was concerned that their friend was a victim of domestic violence at home by one of their parents.

 Using the tootoot app the pupil sent us messages explaining their concerns and also attached screen grabs of text messages their friend had sent them, we were then able to identify the pupil who had reported the case and also identify their friend who was a fellow pupil at the school, we contacted the police and relevant child protection organisations to get the pupil help.
