Junior Premier League kicks out abuse with safeguarding app tootoot sport
A new initiative hopes to tackle the issue of bullying in football, as over 10,000 young footballers across the country will be able to report concerns, abuse and racism, as part of the Junior Premier League’s launch of tootoot sport.

Tootoot launch new app features to improve the way we help safeguarding staff track, monitor and resolve cases and incidents in their schools. These updates make it easier to manage safeguarding concerns on the go.
Improvements to tootoot’s in-app messaging
Tootoot continues to update the app. Based on your feedback we’ve improved the way messages are sent in the tootoot iOS app. We’ve also introduced draft messages so you can go in and out of the tootoot app without losing your text!
Improved Support and Extra Security
We’ve been improving our support section to make it quicker to ask us questions and even easier to use tootoot! We also know the security of our app is really important to you. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve completed an update that makes our app safer for everyone that uses it.

Pupils at St Matthew’s RC Primary Make a Noise against Cyberbullying on Safer Internet Day
Today St Matthew’s RC Primary School in Walton officially launched the anti-bullying and safeguarding app tootoot education to their pupils for Safer Internet Day. Tootoot education is an online anti-bullying and safeguarding platform and app that allows pupils to speak about any concerns or issues they have directly to their place of learning.

On Tuesday 6th February it’s Safer Internet Day 2018, Safer Internet Day is an annual event which promotes the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. 2018’s slogan is “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you”.
Tootoot co-founders named on 2018 Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list
Tootoot co-founders Michael Brennan, 27, and Kieran Innes, 26, have been named on the 2018 Forbes 30 under 30 Europe list. Announced at a ceremony in London on Monday 22nd January, the co-founders were honoured for the work they have done taking the fight against bullying digital.
Celebrating ‘All Different, All Equal’ this Anti-Bullying Week
The theme for Anti-Bullying Week 2017 is ‘All Different, All Equal’. The week aims to help children and young people celebrate what makes them unique, and to understand the importance of being themselves without fear of bullying. Anti-Bullying Week shines a spotlight on bullying and encourages all children, teachers and parents to take action against bullying throughout the year.

Tootoot announce launch of anti-bullying platform in UAE to help tackle bullying in schools
Tootoot announce today the launch of their anti-bullying and safeguarding platform in United Arab Emirates (UAE). The platform and app, which is available 24/7, 365 days a year is six times more effective at resolving incidences than face-to- face reporting. Bullying is currently an issue in many UAE schools, with 60 per cent of teenage boys experiencing bullying, according to Abu Dhabi Education Council.
We’re ‘appy to introduce an update!
2017 was always set to be a big year for tootoot, and it’s certainly not disappointed so far! Today (24th January 2017) has brought the arrival of our brand new updated IOS app for iPhone and iPad. Developers at tootoot have been busy behind the scenes for a very long time analysing our old application, seeing what works and what needs updating to make the app even better!

Wow! What a busy year for tootoot! We haven’t stopped growing, developing and spreading the anti-bullying message around the world and we certainly don’t plan to stop any time soon! The tootoot journey has only just begun with new schools joining us every single day, all wanting to help protect their pupils and give these children a voice.
Tweedmouth Middle school launches tootoot’s anti bullying week video
With Anti Bullying Week 2016 just around the corner, we wanted to celebrate Anti Bullying Week with our schools by launching and sharing tootoot’s new pupil led launch video! The video, developed in partnership with Tweedmouth Middle School and Sky Vantage Productions, showcases students explaining the importance of telling someone if they are being bullied.
Thousands more children to benefit from tootoot
As a result of the support received from the Department for Education, 120,000 students across 300 schools will be able to use tootoot to report incidents such as bullying, cyber bullying, or homophobic, transphobic and biphobic abuse. The scheme, run by Internet Matters, will also train 4,500 teachers and educate 60,000 parents about how to protect their children from cyberbullying.
